The Conners” dropped in everything last night–total viewers, key demo. In the nightly ratings battle. the “Roseanne” spin off continues to trend downward.
Last night, “The Conners” was beaten by everything- “NCIS,” “The Voice,” etc. This was their first really objective run, no World Series, nothing to distract potential viewers.
But the key demo sank, which isn’t a good sign. And the total viewers were down by 180K, which is a lot, frankly. People are leaving and they’re not coming back.
ABC has ordered 1 extra episode to the original order of 10. Sounds to me like a finale. Someone wakes up and says they dreamt Roseanne died. There’s a cackle from the next room. Fade to black.
Honestly forgot this garbage was on the air. They screwed Roseanne over for a TWEET..meanwhile you have celebrities calling for BLOOD SHED if they don’t take the House and their careers are not over so F ABC they deserve to fail
We watched the first one just to see how they killed off Roseanne............
A show written, acted, and produced by liberals to appeal to their notion of what ‘right wingers’ might like is destined for failure at the moment of conception.
I was never a particular fan of Roseanne Barr and watched her show if it happened to be on.
But no way would I, OR THE REST OF AMERICA EVIDENTALLY, watch her show WITHOUT HER!!!
They treat us like we are all born at night out here across the fruited plans.....

A good final episode would be if Dan goes postal and kills them all at Christmas. One at a time, in various gruesome fashions. I’d watch that.

Be interesting if Fox could do another ‘Last Man Standing’ move. Take all the hit shows the liberals throw out because they might ‘validate’ Trump.
I watched last night’s episode. It was really, really bad
Having a child play a transvestite is uncommonly perverse, even today.
Too bad John Goodman is associated with this show; same with Laurie Metcalf who has been great playing Sheldon Cooper’s mom.
There are no role models on this show. It is disgusting and not at all humorous.

Since, no matter how often Sean Hannity tells us it’s a big news day….but since it’s kind of slow news day thought I’d take a moment and discuss some TV shows on my mind.
First, heh, anybody thinks that show “The Conners” is going to go anywhere, I got a bridge to sell cheap.
I was never especially fond of Roseanne Barr but taking the star off of a hit show, how dumb is that? All for something rather silly they said publicly.
The Conners will not be renewed, this is my prediction.
ABC shoulda asked me.
I made sure I had the TV programmed to be on another station during the conners time slot then came back to watch the show after it. That show with the sons was easy on the brain. Kind of fun.
I haven’t watched tv for at least ten years. Haven’t missed anything that will make my life better.
. Roseanne was Roseanne and no one could fill her spot. the reat of the cast was supporting actors and without roseanne they had nothing to support. What if ABC started monday night football and after the first episode didnt have any football in the show but talked about the game instead?
So would I, especially if he rages through a burning house like he did in Barton Fink.
Fox should buy the show from ABC and revive Roseanne, both the character and the show!

Roseanne’s cackle reminds me of Hillary’s cackle..........
Or to paraphrase Obama, who once said Hillary has such an infectious laugh.........
I would say you have to be kidding me, but...sadly, I know better.
