I’d say it’s a little unusual for Halloween. I do remember a Halloween in West Michigan in 1964 where we had at least 3 feet of snow on the ground for trick or treating. That was a bit early. That’s more typical of a Thanksgiving.

Yes, Oct is early for that kind of snowfall.

We STILL haven’t lost the leaves on the trees around here. They haven’t changed color either. I have NEVER seen that so late in the year. Everything is usually down by a good week before Halloween.

It’s going to be yet another crappy fall with no color. The leaves will just turn brown and come down when it finally freezes hard enough.

HOPEFULLY, we won’t get a heavy snowfall before then because otherwise we could be really screwed.
