I don’t live and die by Drudge.
When I check him out once or twice a day it is not to see what is news but how the news is being played.
I grant you that I don’t understand Drudge’s motives except to the extent that he is seeking hits—dollars, nothing wrong with that—at least as much as he is looking for the “right” candidate.
Do I like that? Nope. But it’s his site.
That’s why I turn to Free Republic 100 times a day instead of one.
No one is arguing that he can’t do what he wants with his site. If he’s turned away from conservative advocacy to becoming a click whore, that’s his prerogative, but it’s also a valid point of discussion for the rest of us.
