The media is playing down this guy’s position as just a “staffer”. On some Fox show it was reported that Buckwheat there is very close to Gillum, he went to school with Gillum, and is/was quite high in the organization.

And judging from the P/V tapes, he was not exaggerating the candidate’s views.
Omar knows Gillum VERY well.
