I got one of these calls. it got to the point where he threatened to come to my house and arrest me. I told him to come on down. he said he’d have the police there in five minutes to arrest me. I told him to stay on the line so he could talk to them. I kept daring him to come on down, but for some reason he eventually hang up.
My wife gets that iCloud message and freaks out.
I told her it was a scam.
She doesn’t have an iCloud account...............
Big hairy deal. Welcome to 2018. I get several messages a week from IRS.
Yes, and my Windows is going away.
I do curse at them. In Hindi.
To add to the others that it’s a scam.
ALSO understand that the PHONE NUMBER is ALSO a SCAM.
These people hijack real phone numbers and use them for caller ID. My cell number was hijacked once and about a hundred people called me irate and foul mouthed over a scam threatening them.
Besides the IRS, they masquerade as Social Security (your identity has been stolen), as Microsoft (your Windows OS is being shut down), as major car companies (your vehicle has a life threatening defect), etc.
Hard to believe they can't track these guys down and arrest them - unless the calls are routed through Third World countries.
I have had folks with Indian Accents call and tell me all kinds of stuff, threats and all but the IRS one was the one that I couldn’t help laughing at them about... shame because I like messing with them and wasting their time. (they hang up when you laugh at them)
I’ve gotten several of those through the year. Usually it is a crappy synthesized voice recording.
Ignore them.
Try 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and then it goes to zer0 or hitlary’s voice mail.
The bad engrish gives them away every time.
Scam scam scam. I have been getting these calls once a week for a couple of years.
If you are contacted by email or phone and asked for money, it is a scam.
If you are dating someone online and they ( or someone who knows them ) ask for money, it is a scam. No matter how gut wrenching their story is, or scary, or threatening, it is a scam.
If someone tells you that you won something but need to pay shipping, it is a scam.
If you are about to be arrested, but a little money can fix it, scam! (Unless in Mexico)
.
No matter what it is, tell them that you will give it some thought, research it and get back to them. The harder you are pushed, or scared or whatever, the higher the odds are that it is a scam.
Scams scams scams. Always have people to discuss things with before you part with your money. Im amazed people get sucked into all these scams but I know several people in last few years who fell for it, so I guess its human nature.
I was embarrassed to scream at them but I took another freeper’s advice. That was a year ago. I haven’t heard from them since.
I DO enjoy watching those videos..and that was one of the best. Thank you!

I’m surprised these idiots are still working this scam.
He started doing those videos after his grandmother got scammed. I showed them to my dad after scammers started targeting him and they were both entertaining and informative.
