Snipes was paid the money (as in earned), spent it and didn't pay his taxes. Simple enough. He shouldn't be treated any differently even if he is a friend of Al Sharpton and Obama. Maybe he shouldn't have taken Sharptons advice on (not) paying taxes.

Don’t think it was Sharpton. He hooked up with some religious cult that didn’t believe they had to pay taxes and he was dumb enough to listen to them (and probably let them help him spend all that money).
