Laz they are using that kind of 6x scope on AR's right now because they are looking for accuracy out to 400 yards. Everything out from that is sniper territory. So actually the scope is mounted properly it just looks funny. Some manufacturers are calling it a 5.56 scope. I love the guy the guy that looks like Red Foxx. 😄

correct. I have a 1-6x24 mounted on my ar-15 and it looks the same way. It does look funny but it is mounted correctly.

Correct, that's called a monotube scope - no objective lens "bell" on the front end. Lots of them on the market now, but they've been increasingly common for AR-pattern rifles for a decade or so. That looks like an FN SCAR that he's got it mounted on - not an inexpensive piece of junk.
