LOL.

I thought in the aftermath of the 2016 election, the media types said they would spend more time in middle America, really trying to understand views and issues there. Some media types admitted they are too isolated in the New York/Washington axis, and that they need to get out more.

It’s quite possible that again, they will say they are too disconnected from most of America.

The media are too lazy to try to understand the mood of the nation. It’s much easier to just ask their friends and neighbors and tell us that their opinions reflect the sentiments of the country. They are caught in an intellectual do loop.

Many of them did venture out away from their coastal bubbles. They went to college towns and talked to university professors.

Seriously. They did this.
