CSpan does a Republican Line, Democrat Line and I believe an Independent Line. Not sure about the last but I do know they do the other two so that way they become “fair and balanced”.

Before C-Span had the three lines, almost all the callers were conservative. I used to listen often. Sometime during the Clinton Administration the three lines came in. I read that senior citizen communities in Florida were organized (by Dems) so that people had a regular monthly time to call in. I have no hard evidence about that, but C-Span calls really changed. It became unbearable to hear. So many R’s who said, “I’m a life long Republican BUT this time I have to agree with the Dem.” This is why tonights calls were so shocking to me. The lifelong Dems were voting R.
