Jackson in Cleveland lost thirty-one out of thirty-two yet somehow kept his job... Midseason changes in hockey, baseball, and basketball can successfully turn seasons. In football, not so much and are usually seen as a sign of an unstable dysfunctional organization. And the Jets... they have a twenty-two year old rookie QB who is learning the NFL position the hard way (via OJT), and he doesn't have much help on offense. The D is actually pretty good.
I know you gotta get those first year blues out of the way.
But with McCowen starting, we might have had a chance at the playoffs.
And Darnold could have gotten experience on the sidelines for a year.
IF after 10 games, they were out of the running, THEN put Darnold in.
I dont know. That’s just me.
