It’s not a tank - it a civilian riot suppression tool. Which they will need when their real estate values drop 50% to market levels.

I don’t think someone should cook after drinking Molotov cocktails.

Have you seen those videos of people trying to deep fat fry a turkey?

Frightening,

Have you seen those videos of people trying to deep fat fry a turkey? Frightening,

I make fishing sinkers on a commercial scale at my home shop. That means I have pots with 300 to 400 pounds of molten lead going sometimes when I'm cleaning up scrap. Yeah, I won't fry a turkey, that's way too scary for me, seriously.

Not clear why one vehicle needs so many different weapons.

The article points out situations best intended for one weapon type don’t optimize a different weapon.

We could add, what are the chances all weapons will function optimally all the time?

My thought would be that two or more specialty vehicles might better accomplish a wider range of missions.

Neah.
Has more in common with the Wirbelwind - a quad 20mm AA gun. You could shoot at the Typhoons as they rocketed you, and suppress infantry with it.
This “thing” is designed to shoot down aircraft (SAMs and autocannon), hit tanks at long range (ATGMs), kill soft skinned and light AFVs (autocannon), and suppress infantry (autocannon, MGs, and auto-grenade launchers).
If I understand correctly, the “tank support vehicle” is supposed to help tanks operate when they lack infantry support.
And of course, the Sov, er, Russians are ahead of them on this.

Missiles and rockets have reduced the role of armor. This Chinese rig looks like a Bradley with extra bolt-on trinkets.

Stinger armed Humvee has a wonderful feature.

Once target is spotted, entire crew jumps out into the ditch and remotely controls fire via portable UI (User interface).

Coaxial 50 cal. is to scare the cattle and restless aborigines.(can also be remotely controlled)

The Russians came up with the idea based on their experience in Grozny. They wanted a thick skinned weapons system to fight infantry and thin skinned vehicles in an urban environment.

Hollywood seriously needs to make a mega multi series set of movies about those, i was a serious fan of Keith Laumers novels from the very first BOLO all the way up to the planetary seige versions.

Would beat Transformers i bet.

“Urban” and “Tank” just doesn’t work without a lot of infantry support. Not even with these things.
But infantry with a “tank support vehicle” is going to be a lot more dangerous than infantry without it.
If I had space, I’d put in an infantry compartment though, if just for a place to stick wounded troopers.
