Im experimenting with streaming a few videos off my website that arent on YouTube. Not sure what volume the site can handle, but these experiments should say. What I like about doing it is that I can put up higher quality videos than YouTube allows.
PING
How does this work?
Looks like you got yourself a server. No clicks, pops, beeps, or buzzes and no pauses or tiles. As we used to say, “works fine, lasts a long time!” Good on you mate!
Many thanks for the feedback, higgmeister. That’s just the sort of thing we need to know.
Assuming you’re asking how husband does the streaming, I’ll have to connect the two of you together with more specific questions in private mail. Husband was a hacker back when that was a GOOD word. Had a paper Yet Another Algol Compiler back in the early 1960s. At IBM Research, he built an entire video studio around me, and at home he creates a computer environment that is WAY over my head. But possibly not yours. Our ISP used to have a standalone computer for us, for my two enormous websites, in a back room in CT. It died a particularly horrible death, and husband just got us back up on a new virtual machine from the ISP that we now share.
Outstanding. Great job. I enjoyed the video and I had no problems what so ever getting it, seeing it or watching it. I am in China, BTW.
Oh, that’s wonderful, vannrox. I’m so very pleased. Envy your access to so much amazing art.
Video played perfectly on my android tablet in Spain.
Fantastic! This does seem to be working. Thanks for helping.
Played perfectly on my iPad in upstate NY. Great quality video.
