Why have mail in ballots at all? Show up to vote.

Exactly. I despise the entire concept of early voting. Voting should be done on election day, and we should all do it together. That way we all have potential access to the same information at the time of the vote. The only exception should be deployed service members and perhaps expats.

Those few allowed mail-in ballots should be handled in such a way as to make sure they all are available on election day as well. None of this waiting around for a week or more for all the ballots to roll in.

If the vote is not secured at the appropriate location by the scheduled end of election day, it doesn't exist as far as the election is concerned. The main reason folks want all this early voting crap is to facilitate fraud.

No expats should vote in our elections if they are dual citizens and vote in their country of residence. Dual citizenship should not even be allowed.
