Fake News title. It was long flights causing him problems, not flying.

The longer routes are the most desired by pilots, so I wouldn’t think it would be a problem to accommodate him.

Would you feel comfortable if the guy flying your plane had panic attacks while flying any distance?

He's been flying for almost ten years and suddenly gets these attack on long flights, how do you know he won't suddenly panic on shorter flights while you're on it?

He'd never fly for a US based airline.........

So if they give him the 2 hour hops and he winds up needing to fly holding patterns for weather, it’s okay if he gets nervous?

This guy deserved to be canned. Lives are at stake.

And when he gets a three hour route that has to circle because of bad weather?

So now you have a stressed out pilot that can’t fly 4 hours, but just has, and has to land in crappy weather?
