Knowing what I do about St. Bernards, that they are big mooka dogs...I am sure you were!
I knew a couple that had a Fila Brasiliera, a 180 lb bundle of pure nastiness, they purchased because their house had been broken into five times, and that was a scary dog. My wife hated going to their house, because the dog would just look at you.
But it was the slobber on the walls and even the ceiling that I think she disliked even more...heh, the people who owned it kept making reference to the Tom Hanks movie where he tells his slobbering dog he looks like he ate a pair of sneakers! (Turner and Hooch)
We went out for ice cream at our local stand. Took our new SB. Got cones for us and a kiddie cone for her. It started to rain so we ate them in the car. Just gotten Penny so we were newbies to the buckets o’ drool thing. Penny gobbled her cone. Then shook her head. In a mid size sedan with one adult, three kids, and a very happy, truly drooly SB. We were slimed.
