I saw an interview with him many years ago. I believe the reason for the interview was that he’d been off the scene for a while. He was asked about reports that he was “born again”. He responded saying he had been misquoted, rather he said he was “into porn again”. He’s been around long enough that I actually have two of his 45’s on my jukebox.

Sure, but depending on the laws of the countries involved, you might have to change citizenship too in order to escape tax liabilities.

I saw him a few years ago at the VA Beach R&R half marathon (performing at post-run concert). He looked and sounded terrific for an old guy. It was a great show! The audience was lots of happy, middle-age runners, remembering their glory days in the 80s and their kids who had no idea who this guy was.
Generation X turned out some good stuff before Billy went solo.
