Hundreds of baseball memorabilia collectors gathered today at Democrat Headquarters in an attempt to purchase some old artifacts.
We heard that the Democrats had a collection of old bats, said collector Bill de Baseballio. Some of them may have pine tar on them because they are kind of slippery, but theyll clean right up if you take a belt sander to them.
One of the old bats sought after was a Hillary Hickory. It never came close to any balls, but was handy for destroying computer memories.
Another old bat that many searched for was the Mad Maxine Waters. There is a whistle in the head of this ancient bat that makes a noise as air passes through it as it vainly seeks to make contact with anything.
Perhaps the biggest hunk of wood, literally, is the Joy Behar. This old bat has a huge head that blocks out all views of the catcher, umpire and fans behind home plate. It is empty, so it makes a loud booming noise that frightens small children across the world when it is tapped against home plate.
The collectors were disappointed to find that none of the old bats were for sale as they had all been purchased by George Soros.
Not even Soros would pay money for Joy Behar.
Is there a splinter group in there anywhere?
Because it's not worth anything.
Yes, I know the original post was satire, but this isn't.
“none of the old bats were for sale as they had all been purchased by George Soros.”
How true. LOL
I'm in the same situation, only mine is Stan Musial.
I heard that they were all full of something. Nope, not cork.
Democrats have always remembered fondly the 1919 World Series that was rigged...
They were desperately searching for the Splendid Sphincter.
I don’t understand why we all have to bear the “semi news / semi-satire” crap all the time.
Its evident that there are a lot of things you dont understand.
Thanks for the laughs!
One of the old bats is Nasty P. Lousy.
