You don’t believe in presumption of innocence?

I wish people would follow the money around these allegations. Not only the money and property that flows to the parent who is looking for full custody and revenge against the other parent where there is a divorce, but the potential money that flows to the accusing child, plus all the fuss and attention paid to the accuser because of the “trauma” — lots and lots of secondary gain. Plus the accuser is getting lifetime free pass for her own bad behavior — which is often the motivation for the accusing child in the first place. She has broken the law or she doesn’t like the grade she got on her math test, and tries a little blackmail.

As well, take a long hard look at the money that flows to the prosecutors, the social workers, the psychologists, and even the county from the state and federal govt for a successful prosecution. The psychologists and social workers collect from both sides, by “counseling” the accusers, and then when the accused is paroled from prison and must return to county where he/she was convicted must pay thousands upon thousands of dollars for counseling and supervision from these same social workers/psychologists.

The defendant in these cases are often looking at an expenditure of at least $100,000, and often much more to defend himself (herself) and may not in a position to come up with this kind of money and so the overworked public defender makes a plea bargain on his behalf. The prosecutor of course still gets his/her bonus for “winning” the case, and has plenty of motivation to hide evidence, use hearsay and circumstantial evidence, lie to the judge by omission, etc., and the poor defendant is likely not going to be allowed a vigorous defense because it might “hurt” the accuser, and often is denied the opportunity to confront his accuser.

Then of course, the private prisons get their share of the tax payer money.

I hope that these interviews were videotaped for the defendant’s sake, these psychologists have plenty of motivation to lead the child into making an accusation, sometimes administering drugs to the young child or hypnotizing the child into making an accusation. If they can get the child to accuse someone, it is a gold mine for them.

It appears we have learned nothing from watching the Judge Kavanaugh kangaroo court.

We have entirely forgotten the lessons of Salem.

“People like that should be shot.”

No. Way too painless. Stake them out for the scavengers to work on.
