I think you are reading into it too much. I went to a Gorsuch event not too long ago and he said the SCOTUS was very polite to one another, and even if they disagree, they are very civil.
It’s 9 people working closely together for years without cameras.
The SCOTUS is a very select group. They will at least tolerate each other.
