I’m seeing refurbished Enchroma glasses on eBay for around $250. Still pricey but not quite as bad.

Also there are some other brands selling for under $100. Some appear to have nearly clear lenses with only a slight bluish sheen. Presumably they’re using the same tech as Enchroma but you do wonder how they got around the patent.

I am a deutan in the electronics/computer business. I get very ill-tempered when asked “is the LED red or green?” and I have to answer “It’s ON, that’s all I know, OK?”. I have been aware of this technology for a while now, but it just occurred to me that it just might help with that question. I might get a pair and expense them. Does anyone have any experience with these glasses?
