Minnesota is the land of extremes, so I feel your pain. My warm weather wardrobe is tiny-I need to expand it, but with lots of growing kids they get most of the clothing budget.

Whenever you get a $5 bill back for change, put in in a jar.
Very few people will miss $5 occasionally, and you’d be surprised how fast it adds up.
Or do a change jar.
That can add up fast, too.
