If Georgia beats Bama, Bama drops to number 5 behind Michigan, Georgia, Notre Dame, and Clemson. The SEC only plays powder puffs and their own conference. So they don’t move back when they lose. Its circular logic. The SEC is little different than CFU. They play within their conference and weak teams otherwise. But SEC is assumed to be all strong while the AAC is assumed to be all weak. Even though CFU went undefeated last year and beat Auburn after Auburn beat both Georgia and Alabama.

"The SEC is asumed to be all strong"

You cannot assume something when it is factual. The SEC last year had both finalist for the national championship. They had to defeat what was perceived as other top four teams to get there. Isn't that earned? The SEC won seven straight BCS national championship games against the best teams selected. In this streak, four different SEC teams, three from the SEC West Division won the title. This is earned respect. That this conference has multiple members playing at such a high level is far and away above the other conferences and deserves the recognition it is getting.
