The United States has treated the Bill of Rights as toilet paper. There is NO, absolutely zero 4th amendment protections. Maybe this article can serve as a stop gap DIY until some RINO's are convinced to align themselves with some Trumpists and preserve the Bill of Rights.

Thanks for the great PSA. The EU screws up almost everything, but one thing they did well is pass laws regarding “The right to be forgotten.” We need the SAME law here, but the big boys are in a panic that we might do the same. So quietly, they are working with bought and paid for members of congress to pass a very watered down version, from what I’ve read a bit ago. Head a REAL fix (EU version) off at the pass.
We need visibility on the fake effort, kill it and insist on the same law as the EU.

Thankfully, its not that hard to delete yourself entirely. I saw a movie about that called "The Net."
With that girl from "The Bus."

I think MyLife gets info from voting rosters b/c it lists people’s political registration. You have to petition to be removed from their db.

Tangentially related, for those using MacOS and who have upgraded to Mojave 10.14.1, you might want to consider killing Apple’s News app. If you use the app, I suspect it tracks what you read as news sources. Even if you don’t use it, that itself is a metric.
However, by default you can’t just right-click delete the app. Apple in its wisdom has made the app nuke-proof even using sudo and terminal. You can, however, still eradicate it by booting into Recovery mode and switching off SIP.

I get “OPT OUT” notices from a variety of businesses, primarily banks, credit card and insurance companies. It always amazes me that you can’t really completely “opt out.” They all have the “f*ck you clause” that says that this stuff and that stuff we have on you we will share with others despite your wishes to the contrary.
To business today, America is just a large group of customers that they seek to control and squeeze money out of. As such, borders are an inconvenience. And sadly, our politicians, who are getting paid by these cretins, are only too happy to write laws that support this ongoing theft of your personal identity.
