Funny how that works, isn’t it? VAST majority of FReepers: “I don’t trust the press at all in anything, ever!!”
Some breed obsessed FReepers: “Oh, the article clearly states it’s a pitbull!”
Do you NOT see the hypocrisy and irony I am referring to?
Some history for you:

I’m not obsessed with stupid dogs—far from it. I do, however, note that there is a disproportionate number of attacks by pit bulls reported by the press. I also know someone who was attacked by his own pit bull. If you don’t believe that pit bulls, Chows, etc. are volatile breeds, then why don’t you call your homeowner’s insurance company and ask them if it’s okay if you have a few pit bulls at home? I’ll wait for you to report back what they said.
i have been afraid of a dog attack twice at mt water meter about 1100 feet from my house and a quarter mile from the dogs home, it was a pitbull both times, they are used to fight, guard drugs, and other no good reasons. sterilization is called for across the board on pits, though my problem pit hasn’t been seen since immediately following the second incident. owning a pit is like owning a cobra or other poisonous reptiles, obviously compensating for something
Not interested in history of these dogs.. no doubt some past hx of these” type” dogs was not as dangerous, but the more recent..10 or 30 yrs.. breeding has bred them and destroyed the original...this breeding very much in fl.
