Californians do not have the basic knowledge that bonds = borrowing money. Many think bonds is like growing money on trees.

I frankly am baffled at the California election results. Their so called members of either chamber of congress are nothing more than Communist Pigs. Using their positions in the House or Senate to financially advance themselves and family members.From what I can tell using FR as my monitor on what’s going on in California they never got called out on their behavior. Which should have been issues during this election cycle. Many of them deserve impeachment .
Some of the election results is due to California’s restrictive primary created to maintain one party political control. But permitting fraud by not having an established legitimate citizen electorate verified through confirmed citizenship requirement and residency canvassing. Instead of permitting anyone who shows up or sends in a ballot count their vote.
California has passed the point of no return. It will never be a state of civil ideological debate. A quick look at the insanity spewed by Rep. Eric Swalwell-(D), CA will illustrate where the state is headed.
Born and raised on the coast, I saw the writing on the wall and left over 20 years ago. I honestly feel sorry for those who are stuck there. May they see a way out before it falls in on them. Or, may their demise be painless.

Had you actually seen a California ballot you would have known that Proposition 6 was dishonestly titled by the California AG and that the description made voters think that it was about road and bridge repair.
Throw in the millions of dollars in dishonest media ads run by the anti-Prop 6 forces and the gas tax repeal didn’t stand a chance.

And once we passed Prop 187, the unholy alliance of Judge Mariana Pfaelzer and Gov Gray Davis conspired to strike down the bill without having it sent to the court of appeals. Arnold could have appealed her decision, but being obedient to his Bush Republican sponsors he of course didn’t.
Those in power DO make it difficult to have a government OF the people.

I was also born & raised on the coast. I also left, many years ago. I never really fit in there, since I wasn't a hippie or sun worshipper. The culture was, and is, too damn decadent. My brother would like to leave, if not for his young daughter.
My dad and stepmother, who moved to Orange County 17 years ago, when he retired, watched the influx of foreigners. Dad used to support open immigration until he saw their disregard of traffic and other laws.
My stepmother, a psychologist, was involved with the huge homeless camp by the Santa Ana River. My girlfriend, who lives in Venice (Silicon Beach) is afraid to go out at night because of a large homeless camp just a block away.
I think California is headed toward some third world environment, with economic extreme at both ends and disappearing middle class. No one normal would want to stay there.
Pretty stinking and I can’t believe that the GOP won’t push for an investigation but according to this tape, no one has the gumption or ambition to do that. OC was our home for 40+ years and never dreamed this could happen. Remember well the flap about Loretta Sanchez and Bob Dornan.. Her sister Linda is probably still in the House but Loretta ran for the senate seat (Boxer’s) that Kamala Harris won last year. I think I would take Loretta over that witch any day even as bad as she was..I could even stomach seeing her run for president over Harris - anything BUT HARRIS, PLEASE!
