Three points.1)The brain is 90% phospholipid. How those fats up their churn around and make the higher intellectual functions possible is not known. Unlocking the biochemical pathways of human thought is the scientific challenge of the new millennium. Yet that does not stop people from voluntarily introducing multiple toxins such as alcohol, marijuana, methamphetamines, lipid soluble prescription products and other substances that will definitely alter brain biochemistry. 2) Fewer post mortem exams of human brains are being done today than in 1960. Brains are buried and incinerated before they are studied. Neuroanatomical data is not being accumulated. 3) Sadly virtually all the current treatments for Alzheimer’s disease are ineffective.

Wow, who would have thought that changing your mind could have such devastating consequences!!
One thing a person should never do is become a whole new person!
“May” does not indicate will or shall, it means possible, could be, “maybe.” This what the study actually says:
“This genome tampering may [or may not] expand the brains protein repertoire, but it may [or may not] also promote Alzheimers disease, their study suggests.”
Likewise, “suggest” does not confirm or refute; another wiggle word.
Someone please help me if I’m wrong about the meaning of words.
The LGBT will jump on that bandwagon claiming their brain cells have been shuffled.
