Slighty buff ammo scavenging
[A]ctively punishes you for taking on tough fights because if you lose or have to retreat, you can't just reload and try again, you have to respawn.
Slightly buff item durability
Having item durability in a game is one thing, but with these encounters, even if you die, that damage remains, meaning your stuff is breaking all the time unless you're devoting a serious amount of points into perk cards that reduce it.
Remove the cap cost of fast travel
[I]t may have something to do with making it so PvP players can't just stalk people all over the map for free, but in practice, it feels like it really limits exploration to the point where it's just exhausting...
Increase the availability of healing items, mainly Stimpacks
It feels to me like Bethesda drastically reduced how often you get Stimpacks in Fallout 76, as evidenced by the fact that I keep opening medical kits to find nothing but dirty water and Rad-X.

Remove food and thirst draining while idle
Fine, you won't let me pause a live game, I get that. But do you really have to penalize me if I finally manage to find a safe spot to hide while I go do something else, only I return to find my food and water meters empty?
Start trickling out human NPCs from the other Vaults
Bethesda has already said they're going to start opening new vaults on the map... But while I'm not asking the entirety of the game to be remade with NPCs, I do think that yes, Bethesda could start introducing some human NPCs out of vaults as a starting point.

Ping.
Don’t agree with most of these, but human NPCs might be a good idea.
Enjoyed the commercial with “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” as the soundtrack to the carnage. :)
Ha! Perfect!
Most people I know who have played the series think the number one thing to do is un-release it.
Too late for that, but they’ve chopped the price in half.
Wasnt that lovely? I just saw that for the first time tonight. LOL 😆
Yep. Human NPCs has always been a staple of Fallout games. Fallout 76 is a non-starter for me without that feature. Just another arcade game without them.
I’ll check it out. Thanks.
I’ve played and beat all the Fallout games thus far. I have little to no interest in this one. Having other human players running around acting like children (because they are) will really spoil any game, IMO.
Me and two buddies pre ordered.
Played the beta.
Games trash. Rather die 100 times a minute on Call of Duty
Hope they kept Dogmeat in the new version.
They dont. In fact, there are no companions whatsoever.
The premise is that there are no humans left alive in the game because they were all turned into zombies (scorched). An interesting idea, but it fails because one of the good things about Fallout is how the remaining humans survive day to day. Without that the game seems lifeless.
I would not be surprised if in 6 months to a year they pull a Final Fantasy 14 and just completely redo the game, advancing it a few years in game time and bringing back Human NPCs.
