Following the tragic passing of New York State Senator Jose Peralta, the pro-vaccine Democrat's widow has revealed the cause her husband's sudden death.

47-year-old lawmaker Peralta died on Thanksgiving eve in Elmhurst Hospital in Queens after developing a fever and later became “disoriented and had trouble breathing."

Peralta had reportedly been ill for at least two weeks before his death and, according to the Associated Press, Mrs. Peralta had told reporters that her husband felt pressure behind his ears and headaches for a week or more and had gone to see a doctor.

However they do tell us that he was sick with what would appear to be serious symptoms for two weeks before he sought care. In my book that makes both him and his wife fools, though for him his foolish days are at an end.

Nothing’s perfect.

“”According to the CDC, from 2006 to 2015 over 2.8 billion doses of covered vaccines were distributed in
the U.S. For petitions filed in this time period, 4,560 petitions were adjudicated by the Court, and of
those 2,976 were compensated. This means for every 1 million doses of vaccine that were distributed, 1
individual was compensated.””

No one wants to talk about Congress having to be dragged, kicking and screaming to allow this compensation program to even exist - went into effect in 1986. Big Pharma fought it for years. I’ve tried to find the total # of claims vs those paid since inception but haven’t found anything yet. Curious!

I’ve also skipped it, because it does have risks, and I don’t feel that the risks are worth it, especially given that you can’t really know if the vaccine will protect from the flu that is actually around.

Last year I had the flu for the first time I know of, and while it was a pain, I survived, and do not intend to get a flu shot this year either.

One of the people interviewed said that Peralta had mentioned getting the flu shot.

I’ve always wondered if having it so many times a a kid has somehow made my imune system more resistant to flu viruses as an adult. I like to think it has anyway....knock on wood.

“Lost an uncle 100 years ago to it...”

Yeah, that was probably during the Spanish flu epidemic. I remember we went to find a great grandparent’s grave, we knew which cemetery they were buried in but that was all. After about an hour of them poring over old records, they realized they couldn’t find a regular grave number because he was buried in a mass grave for the Spanish flu victims. Just one big corner of the cemetary with no markers and probably thousands of people buried there from 1917.

HA - I was ready to respond and then saw further down - your real message - which is 100% accurate...

“”*except vaccine makers””

They had it their way for a good number of years and I believe it was one case that paved the way to get this done...a girl with the first name of Holly and I can’t come up with the last name. It will come to me as soon as I hit Post...

The government likes to hand out numbers of cases settled but they don’t give out the # of cases filed - a positive result for a defendant in a claim filed doesn’t MEAN there wasn’t damage but that’s the way the government plays with figures!

This is an updated list of all cases paid out that one law firm handled...

You nailed it, and the legal protection pharmaceutical companies received from congress in 1986 is simple stuff; it's a lobbying effort, first and foremost.

From the National Vaccine Information Center - the U.S. NVIC encourages consumers to read the vaccine manufacturer’s package insert information carefully before receiving influenza vaccine or any vaccine

Maybe you know someone who reads the flu vaccine adverse reaction package insert information before receiving a vaccination, but I sure don't. And to those who choose a vaccine without reading it and become sick, it's all on them. As far as the government is concerned you were warned.

While you might find this to be comical, I should prefer to avoid it.

I have no idea of why he developed bacterial sepsis but I do think that bacterial sepsis secondary to viral infection is NOT that uncommon.
