Sounds like Diane is counting on some late and provisional ballots to come in to help with her with their Nielsen ratings.
Need to pay the Nielsen families to watch now.
Everyone else continue not watching.
She’s going to need more provisional ballots than the Democrats in Georgia and Florida could muster combined. CBS had great hopes for the “Murphy Brown” reboot, one reason the network ordered 13 episodes and made it a part of their fall line-up. But it tanked, and tanked badly. Even the libs at CBS could see the hand-writing on the wall and pulled the plug. It was excruciatingly strident and preachy and not remotely funny.
Ms English would be better off trying to peddle her humorless sitcom to Netflix or Hulu. They seem to have enough money to waste on marginal projects. CBS will never order another episode of Murphy Brown, in the spring of 2019, or any other time.
Meanwhile, Tim Allen continues to dominate Friday nights with “Last Man Standing.” Remember, ABC decided no one would watch a conservative in a sitcom these days, so they pulled the plug. Fox picked the show up and it’s probably the best programming decision they made all year. Of course, CBS could have joined the bidding war for “Last Man Standing,” but they had the same mindset as the empty suits at ABC. And besides, they had that “can’t miss” Murphy Brown reboot in the works.
