South Florida QAnon Cop Gets Demoted From SWAT Team

This past Friday, Broward Sheriff's Office SWAT member Matt Patten wore a QAnon conspiracy-theory patch while greeting Vice President Mike Pence at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Today Patten was reprimanded and demoted from the SWAT team and BSO’s Office of Homeland Security.

For the uninitiated, QAnon is the staggeringly dumb internet conspiracy theory that claims Donald Trump is secretly working to arrest a coterie of high-level pedophiles in Hollywood and the Democratic Party. In reality, NBC News has proffered convincing evidence that the people behind the conspiracy theory are actually a group of online con artists on YouTube and 4chan.

One either sides with this foaming at the mouth “news article” about the Q movement, or you side with Q.

The vitriol and exaggeration of the news article suggest something and should make some of you skeptics take pause.

The only “conspiracy theory” I’ve ever heard of that tells you:

“Trust yourself.

As soon as he’s tired of working for that ahole there are at least 2,500 counties in Red State America where he could get a job, or probably become Sheriff himself.

I’m fairly certain that most of those 2,500 counties have rules against wearing unauthorized patches on uniforms, so he’d be out of luck.

If Broward had some kind of IQ test, he probably wouldn’t have been working there to begin with as well. These Q conspiracy folks aren’t exactly the brightest bulbs in the bunch. They are dedicated though, I’ll give them that. Every few months, my nephew’s wife informs the family that some big arrest is going to happen, and inevitably it never does, and she just finds some other message about something else that’s going to happen soon (but never does). Wash, rinse, repeat.

I’m just an observer of the movement. And “feeble minded” is a poor assessment. The collection of people actually seems comprised of very intelligent, disciplined, patriotic people. The enemies of q are deep state media. The enemies of q make me more confident in the movement.
