We have a Kenmore about 7+ yrs old. Very nice, But..
if I had to do it again I’d get a dual fuel range.
Gas top, electric oven. Why?
Heat from gas oven is waaaay more than electric. Have to have lots of air to support combustion. And yes I have a vent.
Not so in an electric oven.
Only problem is they are much more expensive than a single fuel range.

Also — electric gives you more stable oven heat.

If budget were no object I’d go for induction top and a set of suitable pans. It adjusts as quickly as gas, and with very little wasted heat.
