Just heard Rush Limbaugh's morning update. He said due to Apple CEO's anti free speech "sermon", his cooperation with Apple is over.

Dropping them as an advertiser is one thing. Dumping their products personally and moving to the competition’s products is quite another.

Admittedly, I have not listened to him on purpose since his call from Karen From Whitefish Montana wherein he professed adulation for GOPe and not conservatism, so he may have been sounding the alarm.

You are correct that sharing opinion and view are reasons for FR and If I ever post about whether one does or does not listen to Mr Limbaugh and why, I would welcome the response you gave. The point I was making was for those who like his show and know of his (former) passion for Apple products. I just didn't see what your response as regards your listening habits added to the topic in my post. Sorry if I was too heavy handed. FReegards

I mostly download podcasts that scrub the paid commercials. When doing so you discover that one hour of a radio show generally provides only 35 minutes of content. That is one reason why so many shows have incorporated embedded advertising wherein the host reads the ad copy like it is show content. By that scam even the “scrubbed” podcasts contain the advertising. I find this even on podcasts that are paid subscription only. that is why I do not often listen to the best show on the planet, The Chris Plante Show, because I cannot find it with the ads, news, traffic, etc., edited out. Why would I listen for three hours when there is only 90 minutes of content? The answer is, I won’t.

A lot like President Trump, I’ve heard many anecdotes that make me believe that Rush is a great human being as well as a great radio host, with generosity in the spreading of their wealth as one of both men’s virtues.

If you consider how Rush operates as greedy, you must be outright repulsed by Donald Trump since he makes Rush look like a pauper as far as his business dealings go. Should Trump not lease property to companies with liberal agendas? Maybe not let liberals stay in his hotel rooms? Don’t get me wrong as far as I think both men are fantastic Americans and living an absolute dream that I commend them both for. If I was either of them I probably would have given up the lifestyle that they have and just enjoyed my money. The fact that neither has makes me appreciate and respect them even more. Especially President Trump.

I remember when Trump was running for President and signed 10,000 (!!!) copies of “Crippled America.” Every other signed political book was selling for around $100. Trump’s was barely more than the cover price - the very OPPOSITE of exploiting people who believed in him.
