I hate MS. ( I like to USE my devices, and I am no longer interested in ‘programming’ them). I use my Iphone for almost everything. My HP laptop sits unused for weeks at a time.
I may buy an Apple laptop or iPad in the future. Microsoft are as big or bigger leftist pigs as Apple. I consider it a wash.

What are Apple’s main patent positions? Are they hardware architectural based, operating system and software based, or both? How long do these patents stay in effect? Drugs and medical devices have finite patent durations. How does it work in IT?
