I’m sure the advertisers, who actually pay for time on Rush’s show, will be happy that the free 20-minute Apple infomercials will finally end.

Yeah. Now he can expand the 20 minute infomercials for LifeLock and Legacy Box and StupidlyOverpricedSheets.com.

Seriously. I went out to the Post Office to get my mail, got in the car, flipped on Rush then turned him off again because he said: “Friends... security....” CLICK. So I drive, get my mail, get back into the car, turn on the radio AGAIN and he’s STILL doing the flipping Lifelock ad!

I guess he’s found a way around the FCC limit on ads and another way to add MORE millions to a bank account which already has to have more money in it than any human being could spend in a lifetime. Why do this to your listeners, Rush?

He’s got less ad time than the local morning hosts on the radio station that airs him......

The live ads are the worst, but at least you know they’re ads. My biggest complaint about the Apple plugs is that, to the best of my knowledge, Rush never claimed that Apple was an advertiser. No, he just loved, loved talking about their products for a segment, or two ... every couple of weeks, or so.

Prav, if his stations can’t sell ad time on his show, why would they air it? Limbaugh has stated a commitment to stay on AM/FM radio. That means ad time. Fans who can’t/won’t do his paywall will put up with the ads. That’s how broadcast radio works.

$

He's been doing it for decades.

His branded promotions are the worst. Ties. Click. Turn him back on, they were only letting people through that would talk about his ties before the caller could get to the point of the call. Chased me away for about six months.

Iced Tea. Click. His ABS was so annoying that he got out of the habit of even trying to listen, so now I mostly hear him on weekend rebroadcasts, rather than any time during the week.

When my non-tech father was alive, even he noticed the Apple overload, commenting that Limbaugh must have stock in the company, not realizing it was a paid "commercial".

Rush reiterates that he gives three hours daily to his listening public. If you check the time given to ads, he actually gives less than two hours.

I listen to him on YouTube later in the afternoon. His whole podcast, either the audio, or the video/audio is available. All the commercials are gone, no radio news or traffic and weather; just Rush. AND when he goes on about Lifelock or the $heets, I can skip ahead!

Even worse---"Here's Calvin in Colorado Springs, who's eleven years old!"

Followed by ten minutes of gushing over the Rush Revere books.

I stopped listening to Rush for this reason. His show is more commercials than talk. Although — I like to listen to Mark Steyn when he subs.

I’m a subscriber and listen to his podcasts. Or at least, I used to. Every time i turn it on now and he starts with “Robert Mueller...Russian collusion...” I just turn it off. I’m sick of it. There is nothing new to talk about with Mueller and if Trump can’t see what is coming with Mueller, then I can’t help him. Rush is sounding as repetitive as Hannity now for over a year.

rush (lower case) only cares about the money.

His non-program is just one giant, 3 hour long infomercial with a tiny smattering of stories and information that we have already read here on Free Republic between 6 hours and two days ahead of time before he gets around to bloviating about it.

We listened to him for many years but no more. The guy has become totally irrelevant ever since the money and fame went to his head.
