I really only posted this to see if anyone can tell me where to find video of the 21 jet flyover at the Bush funeral?

I did call it 3rd Army Corps in my 4pg Eulogy to Dad.
I know Bush 41 was Navy, but the Army term is “recto-cranial inversion”.
The perfect missing man formation would be the F18s with one Avenger (Bushe’s Aircraft) in formation and then pealing away into the sky and then the F18s them coming back with full afterburners with the missing Avenger slot gone and then also pealing away in the same direction the Avenger took. It would be beautiful.
Your scenario for the missing man formation would be truly awesome. GHWB deserves every possible military tribute.
Well, I have scanned the Texas videos and have yet to find one that shows the complete fly-over that INCLUDES the “Missing Man” formation. Best I found was one that just showed a brief glimpse after the peel-up.
Still the question I had was answered in the videos that I saw about the arrangement of elements. Single lead F/A-18 followed by 4 groups of F/A-18s in standard diamond formations. Then long gap and the “Missing Man” formation of the Finger-four style.
