Most breastfed babies won’t accept a bottle. It’s foriegn to them. my granddaughter refuses it (the bottle) outright. Don't know why, but there it is.

Ten children. All breastfed. Every one of them would chew on a bottle at 9 months. Foreign objects are a favorite of 9 month old babies.
