They probably rehearsed the flyovers, so that all would maintain their proper alignment. That’s a lot of planning. I’m happy it all worked out as a tribute.

Really precision flying especially considering these were not the Blue Angels.

On the local TV coverage I only saw 16 aircraft. They also said the weather prevented the lost man routine.

I thought all 21 would fly in formation. 4 jets at a time didn’t seem that special to me.

That was anti climatic- I thought it was supposed to be a 21 plane flyover all at once. I only counted 17 planes

Hell- I was more impressed with Soviet fighters practicing bombing runs on us in the Sea of Okhotsk. That new stuff isn’t loud enough either

I am sure people will find this disrespectful. But I’ve been wondering how they can keep dragging his dead body around for all these days and not think we were tired of it. Thank God he is finally buried.

There were 21 planes. The lead plane, 4 sets of 4, then after a pause, the final formation of 4 which did the missing man routine.

There was a time gap between the front 17 & the last 4. The “Missing Man” maneuver was done with the last 4. I saw it all.
