Chomsky is the idiot who hobbled the field of linqguistics with his ridiculous theory that grammar is innate (no evidence), and that grammar doesn't matter (patently false). His sentence "colorless green ideas sleep furiously" is claimed by Chomsky to be grammatically correct and meaningless. It is not grammatically correct due to two color adjectives (there can only be one) and it is not meaningless as sleeping furiously has metaphoric meaning.

The bottom line with Chomsky is he is a leftist who lies like all leftists do. The words that spew from his mouth are evidence of very shallow leftist thinking. It's not much different than his work in linguistics, shallow, stupid, and ultimately counterproductive. Despite his imminent death, the damage is done.
