My daughter has a model 3 and loves it. So do I. She says she’ll never drive anything else.
What does it cost to recharge it at one of the charging stations? Just wondering.
The software that operates the car is reportedly pretty great, and when it crashes (ew, not a good term) and reboots, the car is still operable, that must be a plus. :^)
Rates vary on electricity. There's an automatic change in rate (at least in California, reportedly) if the user doesn't let the "tank" get too low before charging up. And the charge rate, at the supercharger station, slows down the longer the charge takes, to avoid overheating the batts. The "gas cap" pops open automatically as the human approaches with the charger "spigot", and glows green when the charge rate is "super".
As I wrote in the Jaguar topic yesterday, if they address their build quality problems, they're going to be in great shape. They'll be in even greater shape if they make a two-seater EV they can sell for $25K or under, because they'd sell by the jillions, leaving buyers with more money to spend on long trips in gasoline vehicles. :^)
