She was gorgeous but from a poor Calif family. She got famous and her parents could buy a house in Big Bear, later in Lakeside.

The execs LOVED her, esp after Poltergeist. They dressed her up in a pedo bikini on a stage. With the floodlights on her, a bunch of them sitting in the dark of the theater went all Pee Wee Herman in the darkness --this was their secret hobby.

You know what I'm talking about.

Later the real big-wheels took her into a back room to do some stuff to her. Apparently they'd been doing that stuff to her for years.

They stuck something up her as$, causing intenstinal stenosis.

Her parents thought she was simply sick, but then her toes started turning blue.

They rushed her to the hospital, her pupils becoming fixed in the ambulance.

She died.

Hollywood f*cked this beautiful child to death.

Complete BS. The following is accurate according to those who knew her:

O’Rourke became ill with giardiasis in early 1987 and was later diagnosed as having Crohn’s disease. She was prescribed a steroid to treat the disease during the time she was filming Poltergeist III.[18] On January 31, 1988, she began vomiting. The next morning she collapsed; she suffered cardiac arrest en route to the hospital and died later that day after surgery to repair an acute bowel obstruction caused by congenital stenosis of the intestine[19] complicated by septic shock.[4][20] She was entombed at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery

Saddest story. And no one in hollywood will admit it.

I still nearly retch when I see everyone deferring to Spielberg as if he is some great person.

actually this child actress died of a congenital malrotation of the large intestine. It is easy to miss because it is very rare (I know of one case in my 40 years of medicine: Picked up by a smart Pediatric nurse practitioner).

If I remember the story correctly, it was assumed her repeated bouts of stomach cramps was an irritable colon from stress.

The intestines twist on and off, cutting off the circulation. Usually they unwrap themselves spontaneously or from an enemy, but if they get badly twisted, you go into septic shock and die within hours from a gangrenous gut.

However, there is a similar problem in adults due to high fiber diet or severe constipation.

Would be nice to the perps killed in the most inhumane way possible — legally of course.
