Traffic tickets (parking and speeding) have gone beyond punitive to confiscatory these days (the goal is revenue enhancement, the cities WANT legal offense so they can tax it). Of course, those who are scofflaws don’t need to pay and after racking up a dozen offenses, can plea to the court on “amnesty day” and pay a tiny fraction of the amount.
White people will be charged full fare.
But I guess the type of person who might believe that claim would also be the type of person who would donate to them.
