One of those crashed at an Air Show in 2015. Horrendous wreck.

I'm happy to report that the pilot (retired USN CDR, F/A-18 driver, a metric ton of combat missions under his belt) is doing as well as he possibly could be doing after such an immensely harrowing ejection. He is truly a phenomenal pilot, and things could've been much, much worse.

ATAC does this all the time...it's their business. Thank God almighty he was in home waters, not out over the South Pacific somewhere.

Not enough praise can be heaped on the Hawaiian Parasail personnel who arrived on scene first and helped him untangle, and the USCG for bringing him in.
