Will they do the same to Muslim Sharia fanatics?

Why? They are allies.

Instead of resurrecting “Brown Shirts” from Germany’s past perhaps they will be Merkel’s “Red Shirts?”

Comments anyone/

Never Again? History repeating itself? Time to pack and get the hell out of Germany I would say.

Merkel was a member of the Freie Deutsche Jugend (FDJ) in the former East Germany, which was basically East Germany's "Hitler Youth".

There is a reason why a socialist scumbag like Bill Ayers decided to stop making bombs and instead focus on teaching teachers. Peoplelike him should have been unemployable under all circumstances and especially unemployable in any position of Trust.

If this isn’t hyped (too busy to read the article right now), then we truly are well past the point of it being possible to coexist with the left.

Two quips:

More seriously because the Europeans are importing Islam, arguably as a tactic to dechristianize by watering down what little remains to resist their secular fantasies, it is likely that the shirts will end up being black again, only with Islamic scripture in place of death’s heads and double lightning bolts.

But also somewhat seriously, though not entirely, given the nature of political correctness and the PC Babies / Special Snowflakes that produces “brown underwear” might work to describe folks who are constantly proverbially shitting their britches over anything that offends them or which they, in their febrile fevered imaginations, might vicariously assert will offend someone (who isn’t a white Christian man of course).

Germany has always been fond of indoctrinating children. I wonder which color they will choose for their uniforms this time.

...crush the unions for teachers...

You have selected the wrong target. The problem with public schools rests solely on the administration starting with the principles, through the county school boards, and then the state's agency. Teachers must either follow the mandates of the "system" or find another job.

In those states where teachers are allowed to strike, the ruckus is always more than issues related to pay. Teachers have no other way to redress grievances with the school board.

Think of this: I asked why teachers are not allowed to bear arms at school on behalf of the students. The answer was "The fear that students would over-power the teachers in or to seize those weapons".

Perhaps you don't understand what is actually going on inside schools.

It has always struck me as odd the the young Merkel is the only one who seems to be enjoying herself. This is not a good sign for the leader of a free nation.

They play a bigger role than I certainly knew.

What Teachers' Unions Bargain For

Unions negotiate on behalf of their members for better compensation, but they also handle grievances; provide training; lobby federal and state lawmakers; and work to improve education quality for the students (such as reducing class sizes and improving curriculum). Unions may collectively bargain on behalf of teachers for a variety of reasons, including (but not limited to) the following:

Academic freedom; curriculum
Wages; benefits
Hours; workload; responsibilities
Tenure; promotion
Evaluation procedures
Grievance procedures
Retirement and pension benefits
Vacation and sick leave

There was a teacher on Andrew Wilkow's radio show on the Patriot channel who said that unions (she was speaking mainly of the NEA - the union most teachers belong to or belonged to before Janus) are the main force behind pushing the homosexual/permissive sex education in our schools across the country. Granted the curriculum are decided on at many levels from Federal through local, and principals play a role too, but a rather small role. But she said the unions are so powerful that they can throw their weight (they have enormous power) around and have a major influence on the curriculum as well. Which is why you see in this in a majority of the schools throughout the country.

That show & listening to her is what I am going by mostly.
