I’m with you brother. If she is offended she is not for me. My last girlfriend was a Lib. I think she ended up appreciating it.

I also find most woman don’t know the dance when you hold the door for them.

Well as a gal here I've never had to even offer to pay for a meal....I wouldn't. Nor refused a door being opened....though I've had a few close in my face I thought would be held...lol.

These jesters are what brings out the some of the best qualities in men. They are generous, and they are courteous if given the opportunity to do so.....too many women forget the a man gets 'pleasure' out of thee things..it's not just about YOU!

Same her - married 26+ years and do my best to never allow my wife to open her own door (even have her girlfriends trained - they know when I'm driving, they wait for me to get the doors)- she does sometimes treat me to dinner with our joint Visa though.....

First time I had a girls get feisty because I held her door was way back in 68 or 69 ... opened a door for a fellow student and she had a hissy fit so i assuaged her pea brain by telling her I was going to open the door so i could go through anyway, if she wanted, i would do that and let it close so she could open it herself....
