Ketonic diet is one of the stranger fads to come around the bend. Normally, ketosis is considered a pathological condition associated with diabetes.
Ketoacidosis, which is what diabetics can get, is not ketosis, it's not even close to the same thing. It's like the difference between having a slight buzz from a couple of beers versus having alcohol poisoning.
