What is WRONG here? Seriously, lets take a billion dollar franchise, beloved for 40 years, and insert something to OFFEND the majority and court a tiny minority?Do they think the small percentage of homosexuals can advance the franchise in place of the original fans? What kind of marketing department thinks that?

Sickening. This is why MY SW(and I love the original films with the exception of Han Solo) STOPS at ROTJ. I will not have my imagination defiled by what Disney is doing to Star Wars.

I don’t watch much TV, but keep hearing that almost all sitcoms have the token homosexual character.

Are we saying that the small minority of “LGBT” types need to be represented in every situation, every TV show, every movie? What are we saying?

And what of the box office? For example, have there been any major homosexual themed movies since Brokeback Mountain? That movie didn’t do well enough to inspire the creation of other homosexual themed movies.
