Lexington Michigan... it was about 35 degrees that day!! I was gonna go out as well, but after flying thru 4 batteries I got cold and went home!! lol... I have been to the outer banks a few times. great place to kite!!
There ought to be a drone ping list.
I’ve read that cold really limits battery life on drones. OBX is a great place for kiting, constant wind. Also true on the mainland side, the so-called inner banks which are not nearly as popular or crowded. Tourists by and large don’t know about that.
Here’s Cedar Island, not much there other than the ferry landing, a campground, a riding stable and Sharky’s lol, but great kiteboarding. Ignore the poor video quality and annoying music.
