Today's Cryptogram: No hints.
XNFSF USF XGQ PSFUX ZUCM JY U EFSMQY'M VJKFXNF ZUC GF USF DQSY UYZ XNF ZUC GF ZJMTQRFS GNC. GJVVJUH DUSTVUC
Our last puzzle:
YOUR TALENT IS GOD'S GIFT TO YOU. WHAT YOU DO WITH IT IS YOUR GIFT BACK TO GOD. LEO BUSCAGLIA
Many of you got this fairly fast after picking up on the YOU and YOUR.
Was tough for others, since only 2 Es. After seeing the TO before the YOU it gave you the letter T.
In the end, many of you told me it was a quote worth solving!

You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications, unfortunately they are copyrighted so we can't use them here. So, we're just going to make up our own.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example:
AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram)
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
If you can solve this under 8 minutes you're good. Under 5 minutes is very good. Under 3 excellent. Under 2 minutes, exceptional.

The most commonly used letters in English “text” according to the Oxford Dictionary are:
E T A I N O S
but for puzzles and word games, the most commonly used letters in “spoken” English are:
E A R I O T N S
When you are stumped, go back and find the “E” which is usually the letter used the most. “T” usually follows.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it here:
http://www.hjkeen.net/htoys/cryptogm.htm
Its easier to work on without having to use your pencil.
Let me know if you want on or off our Cryptogram Ping List.

Did you get a complete sentence before the author’s name?

Good point. Have you ever wondered why you are on this planet?
Someone said we are here for two reasons. To learn, and to help others.
Other’s may think of our lives here, as the reason they became doctors, or teachers, or why they met and married someone and had their children.
Very profound quotation, that is open ended at the end. I agree with you.

It’s not a complete sentence that’s why the DASH (), and not a period. I was thinking of putting a comma there, but that would be confusing as we would expect “AND” or “BUT” to follow.

Sounds like this one was too easy.
I’d like to see the Daily Cryptogram or Games and Puzzles as a topic line for posting. Is there one out there? Am I missing it?
I’m posting these under “CHIT CHAT.”

Very easy. Got the first 2 words immediately and just rolled through the puzzle. Won’t brag about the time.
