Today's Cryptogram: No hints.

FKYV KE RVJ ZVXDVJR SAWR AWZZVJE RM QMG WJH JKJVRQ ZVXDVJR AMS QMG XVWDR RM KR. DAWXFVE X. ESKJHMFF

Our last puzzle:

THERE ARE TWO GREAT DAYS IN A PERSON'S LIFE—THE DAY WE ARE BORN AND THE DAY WE DISCOVER WHY. WILLIAM BARCLAY

Many of you found this one the easiest thus far. Probably because it started out with a word, that was easily deciphered, “THERE” giving you the top 2 most frequently used letters in the written language, “T” and “E” (12 of them), and then you’re off to the races.

TOPICS: Chit/Chat; Hobbies; Miscellaneous
KEYWORDS: brain; cryptogram; puzzle; todayscryptogram
You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications, unfortunately they are copyrighted so we can't use them here. So, we're just going to make up our own.

The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example:

AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram)

Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.

If you can solve this under 8 minutes you're good. Under 5 minutes is very good. Under 3 excellent. Under 2 minutes, exceptional.

If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it here:

It’s easier to work on it without having to use your pencil.

Let me know if you want on or off our Cryptogram Ping List. It’s currently at 29 and growing each day!

took me about 15 minutes this time. I’ve been addicted to these puzzles since about 16 years old (54 now).

actually, I cut/paste the letters into a notepad doc and type out the letters as I guess above them.

doing them online is much easier these days since the websites will autofill in all the same letters when you choose one. But thanks for this. needed a break today for something fun.

Good job. They’re a great way to start the day. Let me know if you want to be added to our ping list.

We’ve not been posting the answers as others are probably still doing the puzzle. But you should post the time it took you. You’re surely free also to email them to me.

9 minutes is not bad. It was not an easy puzzle.
