I remember back in the 70’s when they were stretching I10 through Texas. Drilling the holes in the nearby hills to drop dynamite... Then.. BOOM... blew most of our house’s windows out with the blast-waves :p (was about 20 or so houses in that area)..

I was going to school during the 1960s about 200 yards from where they were extending I-90 from the western suburbs of Boston all the way to the Atlantic (about 15 miles).Every once in a while there’d be an explosion and the school would shake.
